As a native of Hyde County, North Carolina, Matthew has been inundated in the conservation world since early childhood, providing practical services to landowners seeking to enhance and preserve habitat. Matthew has played a key role in implementing countless ‘firsts’ in the environmental projects world (Wetlands Reserve Program [WRP], Tailwater Program, Forest Carbon Offsets, etc.). He has had experience in managing some of the most well-known and respected wildlife and environmental conservation properties in the country. In prior roles, Matthew was at the forefront of providing exclusive client experiences in the hunting and fishing guide industry and proved to be one of the most sought after and requested guides in the business. Matthew has extensive experience in farming and agricultural practices, land management, and wildlife habitat management and development. Matthew serves as a resource for providing Green Assets’ clients with practical land management and habitat restoration guidance and innovative approaches. Matthew has completed his degree in Business Administration. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and his amazing family, and being outdoors. He is passionate about understanding the complex innerworkings of natural habitats and wildlife.
