Offset developer merging with carbon broker
Greenlite Ventures Inc., a US offset developer, is merging with Advantag AG, a carbon broker based out of Germany.
Greenlite generates voluntary carbon credits from their reforestation projects in Panama.
Advantag has been active in the international market for years, focusing on the European carbon market to report over $3 million in carbon revenue in 2011. Through the merger, Advantag plans to expand its services to trade emissions futures and options by next year.
